The ACC Shackmaster is a great thing to have for the adventurous ham operator. (no, there's no Ai here!) It can serve to access remote transceivers, a phone patch, etc. using DTMF from a touch tone radio or telefone (PTSN). Will control certain ICOM, Kenwood and Yaesu HF Transceivers, for band, mode, frequency, etc. from your UHF radio.Also will control your VHF or HF transceiver via the telephone. It reads back in a synthesized voice the frequency, scanning direction and speed for the HF radio even beam heading (if used with an external rotor control board).Has a mailbox that will replay voice messages (I never used that function so not sure how its done). It does NOT require the Internet. Would be great for emergency communications. Supplied with a suitable wall wart (also with an unused dc connector, not shown). Less a DTMF microphone (Icom I believe).
