Air Hammer Extra Wide Chisel Bit Model B: This .401 shanked 2” wide chisel was specially made for Kent’s Tools. We had it made to fit standard air hammers to help facilitate the scraping and removal of vinyl and ceramic tiles, their mastics and thin sets from concrete floors and slabs. These are the only 2” air hammer chisels that we are aware of in the USA. We have two models available. Model A has the ground beveled chisel side up. This model works well for scraping (not prying or chipping) linoleum and vinyl tiles. Model B has the ground beveled chisel side down. This model works well for loosening and removing ceramic tiles. They are designed for air hammer scraping and will not hold up to chipping or prying. These chisels perform well for their intended purpose and Kent’s Tools cannot warranty broken shanks.
