Check the listing for details. ALPAVIA / FOURNIER RF-3 PLAN + CONSTRUCTION ARTICLE for a 64" RC Model Airplane. Condition: New. Listed at 17.95 USD. I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only a new, full-size copy of the PLAN & construction article for a 64" span ALPAVIA RF-3 .09 powered RC sailplane so you can scratch-build one for yourself. This is an ideal way to get into powered sailplanes because it was designed for single channel, rudder-only, Galloping Ghost RC control which means the dihedral in the wing is sufficient to have your model roll out of a tight turn into gentle level flight. The PLAN shows elevator hinge lines to easily add a second RC channel and for those who also want throttle control on a glow .09 engine or an electric motor equivalent, there is ample room in the front of the fuselage to do so. The construction article by Owen Kampen is quite thorough. I learned to fly RC by myself with some of Kampen's Galloping Ghost (some called it wiggle-waggle RC) designs from Ace and I can say any model like this design of his has to fly well. My last 4 pictures are of other ALPAVIA and FOURNIER powered sailplane models that I list separately. One is a tiny FOURNIER R-1 for a Cox T.D. .010, another is for a FOURNIER RF-4 UC stunt model and the last two PLANS are for the electric powered FOURNIER RF-4 that was published in RCM magazine & also made up as an Astro Flight kit.
