Check the listing for details. Antique 1800s Diana Head Mark - Solid Silver & Enamel Dish Bowl Austrian Hungary. Listed at 565.00 USD. This is a beautiful antique silver and enamel dish. It is made out of approximately 800 to 1000 percent silver. It has two very tiny markings on the upper lip of the dish. One marking is of a woman with a crescent moon over her head. She has a 3 on one side of her and an A on the other. I looked up this mark and found one exactly like it on silvercollection. They date the mark to have started in 1867 and they called it the Diana Head hallmark. The mark was made in Austria and Hungry. The other mark looks like the initials VC. The dish is beautifully detailed with a floral design made out of colorful enamel. The dish measures approximately 2 3/8" tall and 4 1/8" across the top. It weighs a total of 9.3 ounces. Please see photos above for condition. There are some marks and wear of the enamel in places. The dish would make a beautiful decoration. Thank you for looking!
