Antique 1900s Sterling Silver Trinket Box top with a oval piece of agate (cracked and chipped) and all four sides and bottom all with porcelain plaque painted w/Landscape Scenery. I couldn't find any maker's mark or silver mark but it is tested for sterling silver and inside the lid there is a engraved letter and number. This trinket box looks like it was made back around 1900s or earlier, the lid of the box it is made of solid sterling silver and the box itself it is made of box then with sterling silver overlay. From the floral flowing design, it might be around Art Nouveau period. This box has scratches, dents, scuffs, tarnish and other signs of wear and some of the sterling silver overlay already missing but you still can see the carved design on the wood.
