Not sure of the age or country, maybe Chinese, maybe Persian? It is all hand made repousse and stamped design with a great oval shape and handle. It may have had a top at one time but it looks good as it is, especially for Ikebana style arrangement or Bonzai. Measures 7 inches by 6 inches wide and is 3 and 3/4 inches high to the top of the pot edge and to the top of the handle is about 6 inches. It is in good condition with normal aging and patina for a piece of this kind. I did not clean it except very lightly on the outside for a good photo.
