This listing is for a nice antique Continental .830 Silver tea strainer with wide embossed border and milk maid on handle. The border is decorated with birds and scrolls with a medallion at the top and bottom with rural Dutch scenes. The handle is decorated with a milk made carrying two milk buckets and standing on a reticulated design. Marked with several hallmarks including a rampant lion, a monarch's heat with #3 and a date code (?) although the hallmarks are unidentified. Measures 4 1/4" long, 3 7/8" wide with the pierced bowl being 1 3/4" in diameter. Weighs 21.6 grams. The strainer is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws other than a faint dent inside bowl and minor signs of normal wear.
