Most likely antique, this beautiful piece came to me from an Ohio estate. Quite heavy weighing in at 4 lbs, 11 oz. The handle is firm with no issues. I suspect that the rim piece is silver with the lip possibly being pewter. She is definitely a beauty and would be a wonderful centerpiece for any setting or used for the actual purpose of serving. I have tested her with the black light and she does not glow.
