Pair of antique Spanish Revival cast iron double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Made and signed by Markel Electric Products, these figural sconces depict a knight in armor, with a shield below on a hammered background. The sconce arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support crenelated bobeches encircled with rope detail, each ending with a volute spike finial below. The fixture on the right has the bottom of the spike broken as shown. The sconces are 11-1/2” tall, 8-3/8” wide, and project 3-1/4” from the wall.Bulbs are not included. They will need rewired for safety reasons.
