It is marked a crescent crown 800 which tells us it’s German from between 1888 and possibly the early 20th century. The openwork is decorative and functional because it allows liquid to drain out. 800 means 80% silver and 20% alloy which is more durable than sterling silver. The roses and petunias in the center are a very pretty detail and are in the high relief style. Tea time anyone?😃 this piece weighs 1.25 oz.
