It appears to have been modified at some point into a grubbing hoe. What makes this piece unique is that somehow half of the head has been skewed (bent) several degrees to the right. This was not an easy thing to do unless it was heated and forged that way. The bend in this head is what makes the piece a good choice for your collection.
