Rare antique pair of French Redware Green Glazed Removable Hearth Floor Pan Tiles which would be inserted in a square hole in a hearth and the ashes would be swept into the circular hole in the tile and then dumped out. The tile would then be placed back in the hole in the hearth. Probably from late 19th century but we’re not sure. In good antique condition. Please see our pictures. Will ship promptly.
