Antique Green River Works? 14" Fixed Blade Kitchen Butcher Knife. Heavy duty, thick, Carbon steel blade with a wooden handle and three large brass rivets through the full tang make this an incredibly strong and durable knife, with a rugged, worn and vintage look that only comes with use and age...adding tons of character to this piece. Approximately 14.5" long with a 9" tracing point blade. There are no obvious makers marks to be found anywhere on this knife. Other than the cuts, marks, dents and scratches on the handle, some of which may be the previous owners initials. We believe this is a piece made by Green River Works because some people at the flea market where we found it said it was...and according to our research, it is likely true. Or its an unmarked, well made knife, handmade or factory manufactured (no makers marks to be found). Either way, its solid and made to last a another lifetime, looks like it already has been around with many signs of use and age. See photos for details and measurements. We do not clean or oil them, they are sold as is, so a little TLC can go a really long way with these knives, they will shine up nicer than they look in the photos for sure.
