Want to keep the heat in your tank to save on electricity costs? Not liking glass lids because they don’t fit correctly, are sharp and cost too much. Not like acrylic because of the warping? You are in luck because polycarbonate aquarium lids are great. I have been using them on all my tanks in the fish room for several years. I have various polycarbonate twin wall 1/4” (6mm) thick lids that works for all of my aquariums. It is the same material used for greenhouses and transmits light so that plants can still grow. -20 gallon high. Fits Aqueon brand aquariums and measures exactly 23.125” x 11.5”. They have 2 hinges and a door handle. As shown in the pictures, the door opens deep wise as I know some fish keepers like this method to save shelf space. There is a cutout on the back left. Tank not included. Pictures 1-10 are of three actual lid. The other pictures demonstrate the transparency of light transmission.
