Axxess' AXDI-GMLN11 wiring interface lets you replace the factory receiver in these vehicles and keep your audible safety warnings along with your balance and fade controls and retained accessory power (R.A.P.). Wire up the AXDI-GMLN11 to your aftermarket radio, mount the module in a location where the chime can be heard, and plug it into the existing factory plug. The module also supplies 12V 10-amp accessory power. The package includes a pre-wired harness for Axxess' AXSWC steering wheel control adapter ( sold separately) which allows you to keep your steering wheel audio controls if present. Installation Note: The AXDI-GMLN11 interface is designed for use in non-amplified models, models with analog amplifiers, or when bypassing a factory amplifier. Important Note: This AXDI-GMLN11 interface allows you to keep your factory door chime (needed to keep audible safety warnings functioning) while providing a switched 12-volt power source for your new radio. If you do not use a compatible adapter when you replace your factory radio, you will disable the audible warning system in your vehicle.
