The interface connects the new stereo and the factory amplifier, so you don't have to rewire your entire system. It allows you to adjust input gain to the amp, and provides the outputs (parking brake, reverse, mute, and speed sense) you'll need to install a navigation-ready receiver. The interface's UBS port facilitates firmware upgrades. Warranty: 1 year.
