This particular Bahamas 1 dollar banknote is in uncirculated condition. The obverse side depicts a green foil fish, a map, embossed flamingoes, and a portrait of the Father of the Nation of Bahamas Lynden O. Pindling. The 156 x 67 paper bill also bears a sand dollar as its registration device. It also has a solid security thread and a violet-to-green windowed security thread with a demetallized BAHAMAS. Furthermore, it has an image of Lynden O. Pindling and an electrotype 1 as its watermark.
