According to the Bal-Tec website, this 4" dia x 1.5" thick platform has a rare earth magnet that provides over 100lbs of holding power. Magnet is designed to hold the target sphere for evaluating computer numerically controlled machinig centers. Two jack screws allow for removal of magnet from machine surface. There is also a 3/8-16 tapped hole in center of top surface. Item includes original box. Box is intact and shows light wear. Platform is guaranteed to arrive in described condition.
