If your upper wheel adjusting knob is below the top of the wheel shroud, it can be awkward to tension the upper wheel. I just put one of these on my older Delta saw and tensioning takes seconds now, without pinching and wearing out my wrist. It comes with two different size nuts to fit inside the hinge housing. You do not have to take anything off the saw to install this. Just unwind your current adjusting knob, catch the indicator washer and nut. Then put the new adjusting rod into the spring, add the washer and nut, and crank the wheel up. Takes less than 5 minutes. This has been used on the Delta, Jet, and Central Machinery 14" saws.
