The Barbados 20 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Barbados in 2012 to commemorate its 40th anniversary. This purple banknote features Samuel Jackman Prescod on the obverse. The obverse also features the coat of arms of Barbados, a trident, a flying fish, and the 40 years anniversary logo. The reverse of the banknote depicts the House of Assembly buildings and careenage at Trafalgar Square in Bridgetown. it also reflects a pelican. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized CBB $20. And also bears a watermark that reveals a map and electrotype Pride of Barbados flower, and Cornerstones. The note is 150 x 65 mm in size and is signed by Dr. DeLisle Worrell. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
