I can only tell you what i found out about this one from the web. I can not find a similar trunk after two hours searching but according to hmsantiquetrunks.com, I can put the year between 1872 and the 1890s. The reason is that at one time (I remember from when I was a kid), this trunk was covered with leather, tooled around the edges. This seems to place the trunk from the early 1800s to the 1890s. Becaise it has latches on it means it was made some time after 1872.I couldn't find any information on the paper lining, which is odd and cool at the same time. It appears two young girls are holding a boy child at gun point.
