It was a kit that was put together by the former owner who collected antique apprentice/salesman sample chests. It has 4 drawers with brass knobs. It was beautifully made and kept meticulously. It comes with the original pamphlet. It is made of mahogany and is in excellent condition. Please see pictures. The Bartley Collection of furniture was well known for creating heirloom-quality reproductions of 17th, 18th and 19th century furniture developed for project kits. It is now owned by Bayne Box who is carrying on the tradition.
