This is an Estate Fresh Antique pair of Silverplate Pedestal Candlesticks made by one of the finest Silverplate and Silver makers of the time. The Pairpoint Mfg Co of New Bedford MA. made some stunning pieces. Its so hard to find Pairpoint pieces any longer and I just had to own these. Its a nice Beefy matching Hexagonal Column pair of Candlesticks on a Hex base with a Lilly Pad type of foot and a bulbous center column finishing off to a Hex cup with inserts for different size candles ( hard to find the inserts). The 2 sticks are enhanced with Gold beaded work at the top and bottom of the center column. Just beautiful! They are in really nice condition as described above with no dents or dings. They are both hallmarked on the underside with the Mark of Pairpoint Mfg Co and carry a pattern number of 6165. They are so pretty, they stand 9" tall and anyone will spot them from across the room. Beautiful on a Dining Room table or server. They are in their natural patina and will polish should one wish them shiny. I'm an original finish guy. These may be a little darker once one buys them as it is hard to stop the natural oxidation that darkens them. I do not polish so consider that when you buy them.
