I AM NOT SELLING A MODEL only TWO new, full-size copies of my original Aeromodeller magazine PLANS to build TWO 48" free flight or RC models. These fine old 48" span PLANS are for 1/2-A engine powered semi-scale free flight models and are unique. One has a sheeted leading edge on its wing and a tissue covered framework thereafter. Being an extremely stable free flight model, it would make a nice rugged model when converted to RC. The other BEAVER PLAN has the same 48" wing span but features the quite rare pendulum control that was favored by the British in the 1950s. It is tissue covered throughout and is lighter in construction. Both of these PLANS are lighter weight models than my other listing. You can use the best features from each of these two outstandingly stable free flight models to build yourself one fine flying 1/2A RC BEAVER. All of the necessary parts patterns are found on these PLANS. The blue and white BEAVER model you see pictured was built by Dan Stewart of Sherman, TX. My thanks go to Dan for sharing the pictures of his outstanding 48" span, electric powered, RC BEAVER model. Dan obtained a copy of my Berkeley plans and periodically sent pictures of his construction on that model. When he sent a great picture of his completed model, they were too good not to share with this double free flight plan offer since Dan's model is the same size. He used electric power and a plastic cowl to produce this beautiful model. Thanks, Dan, for sharing your outstanding craftsmanship. By the way, Dan said he made his plastic cowl by cutting off the bottom of a 2-liter water pitcher he found at a Kroger store.
