The CDV-138 was used as a training dosimeter for Radiological Defense classes. These classes utilized Cobalt-60 sources to teach the student how to measure radiation. These units are collectors items only. They were leak tested and failed the test and are priced accordingly. I’d hate to see these go in the trash, so I’m selling them cheap as collectors items.
