Check the listing for details. Binary Adder Learning Kit #4 (Assembly Required). Condition: New. Listed at 25.00 USD. **Learning Kit #4 - Full Adder** This kit is the follow-up to Logic Gates Learning Kit #1-3 ( ). In the Logic Gate Learning Bundle, we learned how to build AND, OR, NOT & XOR Logic Gates first using basic switches, then transistors, then Integrated Circuit chips. This laid the foundational knowledge that we will need moving forward. So now it's time to harness the power of the XOR Gate to perform an actual function that every computing device does... basic addition. First we will focus on a Half Adder (these are sectioned off on the circuit board), these add two binary bits together. Then once we learn how the Half Adder works, we will move on to the Full Adder, which combines two Half Adders with an OR Gate to allow the addition of a two binary bits with a carry bit (this will be important later in our 4-bit Adder kit). In subsequent kits, we will learn how the Half Adder and Full Adder circuits are combined in a row to be able to add 8-bit numbers together. A digital manual is provided, containing assembly instructions & education about how the circuits work. ---------------------------------- NOTE: This kit comes as either 'Assembly Required' or 'Pre-Assembled', so make sure you choose which option you need. But don't be scared off by the 'Assembly Required' version. This circuit board will be a great project to practice your soldering skills on; the through-hole components are easy to work with and the USB power connector is pre-soldered. **Specifications:** Board Dimensions: 6 in x 3 in (15.24 cm x 7.62 cm) Power: 5v via Micro USB connector **Kit Contents:** 1 - PCB Board 3 - Integrated Circuit Chips 3 - IC Chip Sockets 3 Momentary Push Button Switches 11 LEDs 14 Resistors 1 - Digital Educational Manual For any questions just message me.
