CPM 3V Steel: This modern tool steel may be a bit more expensive, but its surprisingly sturdy and extremely wear resistant. It is a fine-grained powdered steel. With its very uniform microstructure, it offers first-class impact resistance and high edge retention, even with very thin cutting edges.
