Bow Drill Fire Boards or Hearth Boards 3 Cedar Fire Boards Cedar Wood Fire Board or Hearth Board is soft and has its own natural oil. You can use a knife, a broken piece of glass or something similar to scrape a small mound of fibers from the board. You can ignite the fiber mound easily using a ferrocerium rod if for some reason you need to start a fire right away and don't have the time to start one using the bow drill. They will be shipped to you packaged in a custom made to fit box. What you will get with your purchase:You will get 3 Cedar Fire/Hearth Boards packaged in a custom sized box. They have no burnt-in hole. If you would like me to burn in the first hole on each board for you, please send me a message and I would gladly burn in a hole in each board. I will also cut out the \/-notch on the hole if you'd like.
