IT IS SIMILAR TO THE BOB BECK BT5 BRAIN TUNER, BUT HAS OTHER UNIQUE FEATURES. THIS MODEL IS IN A BLACK PLASTIC BOX ( 4" x 2 1/4" x 1" ) AND POWERED BY A 9 VOLT STANDARD FLAT BATTERY. Battery NOT included in this sale. The BRAIN SYNCHRONIZER is similar to the BT5 with the switch in the DOWN position. The output is a Chord consisting of two frequencies outputted at the same time: 111 Hz and 1000 Hz. The BT5 generates a 1000 Hz "carrier" signal that is Modulated by 111Hz. The distinction is subtle and may not be noticeable to the user. The BRAIN SYNCHRONIZER HAS A UNIQUE feature. With the switch in the center position, the 1000 + 111 Chord is outputted BUT Modulated by 0.5 Hz, thus the Chord output is turned ON and OFF twice a second. This feature is not found in any other CES device that we are aware of. With the switch in the UP position the Output is the 1000 + 111 Chord , modulated by 6 Hz. The Amplitude Adjustment knob controls the strength of the output signal and serves as the ON/OFF switch. * Powered by a standard 9 Volt "flat" battery....NOT included in this sale. * A Low Power Indicator LED is included....when this LED lights up, replace the battery (obviously,it will not light up if the battery is below 2 volts.) * There is a voltage booster / regulator.
