This is a brand new pair of Master Lock brass door knobs with a 5/16" threaded spindle. This door knob has a brass finish base and a brass handle. This handle set also includes brass escutcheon backing plates and screws. The escutcheons measure 2 1/2" with screws 2" on center. It fits all old doors using the standard 5/16" square threaded spindle. The spindle is 3 1/2" long. The knob diameter is 2 1/4" and projects 2". These replacement handles are for old style mortise locksets, they will NOT FIT a modern door that has a predrilled 2 1/8" hole. This handle set is made by Master Lock and is stock #5252D.
