Low production number for this model. Excellent flamed maple, spruce top and Ebony tailpiece. Yes, there are some cracks for its age, but they haven't spread to the ribs. Plays beautifully. I'm a local luthier; have cut the bridge, adjusted the sound post and set the action to be low and play like silk. There of course, dings and varnish issues. Fine piece of history that is a welcomed upgrade from the regular student violins going around.
