No dents no dings and most important, no personal engraving. It has a light wood insert that you could take out if you wanted to repurpose as a jewelry box. It weighs 11.6 ounces on a postal scale. It measures 4.75 inches across, 3 & 1/8ths inch wide, and 1.5 inches deep. In each corner you'll see an 18k gold domed square-please notice the inside cover and how they are attached.
