For 1977 machines serial # 8957501-8969419 there may be a mix of 1 & 2 piece type pistons, the only way to tell from outside is by the cylinder number stamped on the face of the rod gland. With the exception of the Loader lift cylinder, if the cylinder number begins with G10... it is a 1 piece type, if it begins with G3... it is a 2 piece type.
