Charoite is a beautiful purple color with unique patterns of swirls, feathers and needles. It may contain patches or stars of black (Aegerine), orange (Tinaksite), or transparent, sometimes smoky color or clear crystal (Microcline Feldspar). Mostly flat on one side, other side is curved, with flat edges. It is approximately 1 3/8 by 1 1/2 inches across and about 3/16 inch thick. Russia.
