You realize ice melts yes? Hopefully you do, because it does. When ice is used to cool a liquid you're drinking, it slowly melts, releasing water into, thus diluting, whatever it is that you're drinking. And in the case of.....say, an extremely fine and expensive whiskey (or your Dr. Pepper!!), this ice dilution is a highly undesirable process. So don't dilute your drinks if you want them cold, use these soapstone cubes instead. Simply place these cubes in the freezer for four hours prior to using, them drop them in to whatever liquid you want cooled, and viola, your drink is chilled and stays chilled, with absolutely no dilution. Soapstone is non-porous, odorless, and tasteless, and great for this kind of thing!!
