The saya is a deep black lacquer with golden dragonflies. High quality ray skin is used in tsuka. Tsuka-ito is made of premium purple Japanese cotton. The tsuba is expertly cast in stainless steel and with a patina similar to blackened iron, with gold and bronze details and exquisite decoration of dragonfly scenes. The silk sage complements this piece and is elegantly woven in dark blue and black. The fuchi and kashira are black and with bronze and brass details, and the kojiri, koiguchi and kurikata are polished buffalo horn. The habaki is a brass construction in one piece.
