Please note that a bad SID or capacitors can also induce jitter. The shaft of the potentiometer is tooled to match the ones in the VIC20 paddles shown in the picture, I don't know if it will fit other models. You need to open the paddle, remove the old potentiometer. Desolder the 2 wires, solder to the new potentiometer, then install it.
