Check the listing for details. confederate tar/sponge iron cannon bucket. Condition: Used, Made in United States. Listed at 325.00 USD. Confederate tar/sponge bucket would have held either tar,which was grease for wheel lubrication or sponge bucket of water to make sure no embers were left in cannon. There would have been 1on every cannon at least for a sponge bucket. Hand made by a blacksmith it measures 13" to top of hanger 7.5"wide and the bucket is 7.25" high. It is completely tight and solid and zero holes in it. There are 2 spots of separation on edge of rim. The unevenness of the handmade hanger and the crooked seam on the side all adds to the cool handmade factor. 48 state shipping
