This charming quilted table runner is cut from a variety of beautiful fabrics in jewel tones. At 16 by 40 inches, the quilt is great size for medium to long tables, but don't forget that this quilt can also be used for coffee tables, end tables, and chair backs! The quilt is constructed using 2.25 by 10 fabric strips. The quilt top is layered with a cotton batting, and backed with a simple white cotton/poly blend. Quilting was done by machine using a free motion swirl technique, in a dark red thread. Quilt is bound using a dark red print, also used in the quilt top. The binding is hand sewn to the quilt back.
