The Creative Percussion "Golf" Clap Stax are made from our extra thin steel, which is heat-treated to give you our signature CP look and sound. Each layer is hand-hammered in a circular pattern, which allows for space between each of the layers giving you a louder, less-dry clap sound. The four layers are comprised of 7", 8", 9" and 10" diameters. Ways to Play: Loose for more of a Stax sound. Tighter for a shorter, more clap-like sound. With the shoulder of the stick to hit more layers at the same time, giving you more of a clap sound. With the tip of the stick to target one layer at a time for a more articulated note.
