Constantly updated over the years, the SL spearguns are ultra-light, easy to use, and fire quickly. The SL Star comes with an anatomical high grip handle that enabling the gun to be held in line with the arm effortlessly. The bright yellow handle allows you quick and easy identification of the gun even if it ends up on the sea-floor after shooting. A strong line attachment eyelet on the handle allows attachment of a lanyard and aids in shaft loading. The SL guns are fitted with a safety catch to prevent accidental firing and, when the trigger is pulled the line release automatically releases the shaft line. The SL spearguns come with an 8mm (0.31") threaded stainless steel tempered shaft. The shaft threads are 7mm and will fit the following Cressi spear tips: Mini Spear Head (see SKU: CSBMSH), Mach Spear Head (see SKU: CSBSHM) and any other 7mm threaded spear tips. The SL Star spearguns models come in three lengths: SL 40 measures 40cm (15.75") in length, has an overall length with shaft of 70cm (27.55"), shaft length of 46.5cm (18.3") and a shot range of 2.2m (7.3'). The SL 55 measures 55cm (21.5") in length, has an overall length with shaft of 85cm (33.46"), shaft length of 65cm (25.59") and a shot range of 2.7m (9.0'). The SL 70 measuring 70cm (27.5") in length, has an overall length with shaft of 100cm (39.37"), shaft length of 78.5cm (30.9") and a shot range of 3.1m (10.4'). The guns have a 13mm (0.51") internal barrel. Load pressures are for easy load 16 bar (232 psi), standard pressure 18 bar (261 psi) and hard load 24 bar (348 psi). The legendary Cressi handle provides an angle between the barrel and handle and determines the winning ergonomics of Cressi pneumatic spearguns.
