The flash-rate can be adjusted as well as the brightness of the lights and the overall length of time for the flashing. No other module offers these features. The project comes fully built with 2 reed switches (long leads) and 2 x super-magnets and two test-LEDs. You just need 12v DC (can be as high as 15v DC) and only requires 20mA. You need 2 x crossing lights to complete the installation and these are available on the web from many suppliers. There are two types of crossing lights on eBay and the module has a switch to allow both (either) type to work - another exclusive feature. Just flick the switch at the bottom of the module.
