These have fabricated to use with molding up to 4 3/4", they are much different than the standard home depot block (for $14) in that I've used an Alexandria colonial 4 1/2" molding in the tear drop for added detail. I also have bare pine if necessary, block is pictured with 4 1/2" crown moulding.
