These have fabricated to use with moulding up to 4 3/4", they are much different than the standard home depot block (for $11) in that i've used a popular Alexandria crown molding (4 1/2") in the tear drops for added detail. the Alexandria molding is sold n most Home Depots and most building supply houses.These have also been primed with Zinsser 123 stain blocker and painted two coats with Benjamin Moore super white semi-gloss paint! I also have bare pine if necessary, block is pictured with colonial 4 1/2" crown moulding. The latter listing photos also depict a middle transition block which bridges two pieces of crown in lieu of an ugly scarf joint which I also sell.
