This is a special set of tools which I have assembled for more than 25 years to make the job of rounding off your cut wire ends as easy and professional as possible. It includes an assortment of (6) sizes of cup burs, which have hollowed-out cups with cutting teeth inside. They will fit jewelry wire sizes from approx. 24 gauge up to 14 gauge. Just pick the appropriate cup bur for your wire, mount it in the included handle, add a drop of oil to lubricate it, push it onto the end of your wire and rotate it clockwise about 5-6 times. If you have done this properly, the result will be a perfectly-rounded tip on your wire with no sharp edges. If you have gotten frustrated trying to FILE your wires into a rounded shape in the past, this kit will be the solution you have been hoping for. Basic written instructions are included. *The color and/or type of handle may vary, depending on availability *** ONE or TWO sizes of cup burs are NOT sufficient to properly round the various gauges of wire. If you use an improper size cup bur, your results will not be the best. That is why MY set includes SIX different, graduated sizes----For professional-quality results! The set FOR MOTOR USE ONLY does not include the handle, since you wouldn't need it.This set features the type of cup burs that have no teeth to clog, just a slot cut into the side of the cup. It works amazingly well, but only in a motor such as a Dremel, Foredom, electric bead reamer, etc. It requires that kind of rotational speed to do the cutting, and that cannot be achieved by turning it by hand.
