Although not initially invited, this concept designed by Daniel Carr was one of only two designs accepted from outside artists in the competition. This design was sculpted in 3D by Daniel Carr, and the dies are made using a direct mechanical transfer from the 3D models To comply with US regulations, the reverse of the coin is marked “1 000000” in place of “1 Dollar”.
