Currently available is this 6 color desert camouflage U.S. Marine Corps Utility Cap. Commonly referred to as the "Chocolate Chip Camouflage", the six color desert camouflage pattern was developed in 1970 and would be trialed in the late '70s and produced as BDUs from 1981 to 1991 when it was replaced by the three color desert camouflage pattern. This seldom seen desert camouflage utility cap is made in a size Extra Large fitting a size 7 ¾ (European size 62) with a 2 ¾" (6.9 cm) bill. This cap is in excellent, unissued condition.
