This DTR5 reader is a rugged portable hand-held scanner and telemeter for Electronic Identification (EID) ear tags specifically designed for livestock applications. The reader fully complies with ISO standards ISO 11784/ISO 11785 for FDX-B and HDX technologies. In addition to its tag reading capability, the reader can store the ear tag numbers in different working sessions, each ear tag being associated with a time/date stamp, in its internal memory and transmit them to a personal computer via a USB interface, an RS-232 interface or a Bluetooth interface. The device has a large display that allows you to view the “Main Menu” and configure the reader to your specifications.
