In my case I ran my exhaust through a cast iron radiator to extract as much heat from the exhaust as possible. The top section of the radiator gets up into the 200 degree range. You'll find that the ID of the 3/4" NPT pipe is around. 850" which is fairly close to the exhaust port ID on your machine.
