DMC Pearl Cotton (Coton Perle) is made of 100% cotton, in a variety of sizes and colors. Size #12 is thinnest of the Pearl cottons, only slightly thicker than the tatting cotton. Like all pearl cottons, it it a non-divisible 2-ply thread, softly twisted for a nice drape and the characteristic pearly sheen. 131 yard (120m) per ball. Made in France. A color card is loaded to show the range of colors, but are not exact. There are total of 40 colors made and I carry most of them. The colors are exactly the same color as the DMC 6-Strand Floss.
